SERENA WU

Serena Wu is a multilingual singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose pop-driven music blends relatable, emotional lyrics with upbeat percussion and catchy melodies. In 2024, she released Étranger, produced by Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant, The Once, Quiet Parade). In 2025, she released the double single Détruit / Hate U Now, also produced by Ledwell. The song was selected by CBC as one of its “Songs You Need to Hear This Week,” received continuous airplay on SiriusXM, and spent more than 50 weeks on the ARCANB pop/rock radio charts.

 

Serena has performed at Nova Scotia Music Week, Emerge Festival, and The Seahorse Tavern, and has collaborated with Ashley MacIsaac. In 2026, she opened for Caroline Savoie during the Halifax stop of her tour and will perform at the Fête nationale de l'Acadie in Dieppe, nationally televised on Radio-Canada. Her new double single, Tu n'as rien sur moi / Got Nothing On Me, was released in June 2026, as Serena continues to establish herself as one of Canada's emerging francophone pop artists.
