NIHAD

Nihad is much more than a singer: she is a soul who sings to survive, to heal, to live life to the fullest. Based in New Brunswick, this artist of Moroccan origin, proud of her Amazigh roots and her Arab-Andalusian heritage, is preparing to become a Canadian citizen, a symbolic step in her life and artistic journey.

Her voice carries the scents of Morocco and the freshness of the Canadian Atlantic, the Atlas Mountains and the energy of the great international stages.

She sings in French, English, Spanish, classical Arabic and Darija (Moroccan dialect), building bridges between languages, emotions and cultures.

Music has always been her refuge, a sacred space where she transforms her pain into beauty and her silences into light. For a long time, she kept her talent in the shadows, stifled by doubt, until the day she chose to assert herself and sing loud and true.
